2018 New York State Maple Tour

The 2018 New York State Maple Tour is scheduled for July 15-17. It will be hosted by the
Upper Hudson Maple Producers Association and centered in Saratoga Springs. The tour
opens with a reception, registration, and trade show on Sunday afternoon July 15. On
Monday and Tuesday July 16 and 17, the tour will feature visits to a variety of maple
operations, both larger and smaller.

2018 Maple Open House Weekends

Take a free tour of area sugarhouses March 17, 18, 24, and 25. Experience first-hand the sights, smells and sounds of maple syrup making. 24 Sugarhouses are participating throughout the six-county region, many serving pancake breakfasts.


 2017 Tree Tapping Ceremony

We kicked off 2017 Maple Weekend Festivities on March 10th at our annual tree tapping ceremony. The event took place at Toad Hill Maple Farm located at 139 Charles Old Road, Thurman, NY 12810. Maple-themed refreshments were served following the tapping ceremony.

Mike Grottoli (right) and his family welcomed about 30 guests to their farm for the annual tapping ceremony. Other dignitaries included Jackie Moody-Czub, Deputy Commissioner NYS Dept. of Ag & Markets, Matt Scolin, District Director office of Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, and members of the Washington County Board of Supervisors.
